Funky Fruit & Funny Weather

There has been lots of relaxing in the sun, reading and putting the world to rights over flambé banana breakfasts helping us settle back into life aboard 'Slowy'. Adjusting ourselves to the 30 degree heat and 100% humidity!!!

 Freyja has been promoting the blog... albeit with one letter smaller than the rest!

 There is, as always the fair share of characters around the islands.... We had a welcome visit from the fruit man in his precariously unstable, wonderfully dressed, fruit laden vessel.

And as we learnt from previous experience the Caribbean weather can be fickle, one minute blazing hot sunshine and the next sudden blackout down poor. We were luckier than some though as we hid under our bimini watching poor Sandals holiday makers taking a beating!

We are awaiting one more arrival before our departure. Amy who is flying in all the way from Australia is due any minute and as soon as the weather permits we will depart for Martinique. More to come soon...
