Go Big or Go Home

Parked on the super yacht dock in Atlantis Paradise Marina, ‘Slow Flight’ gloriously stood her ground amongst the shining super yachts. It was a slightly different experience to our previous night docked on the 'dodgy' side of Nassau (Abe having to escort us to the ladies showers)...We were excited to find that we had access to all the resorts attractions including a 24 hour 'boat service menu' and a complimentary golf buggy service to ferry us round the resort, we decided that was a very good reason for a night out in heels.
First stop (much to Abe’s delight) was the water park, filled with flumes, lazy rivers, rapids and shark tanks. he was smiling from ear to ear...

We headed left at the Mayan Temple and into the lazy river which served as a Higway around the park. Each exit took you to a different slide, in true american style no walking was required. As we peacefully floated down the river a sneaky wave machine unexpectedly launched a squealing Pippa into the air straight on top of Esmé, after a few giggles we noticed Abes restlessness and impatience for some more 'gnarly' man rides. He steered us towards the “Leap Of Faith” which true to its name appeared to be near vertical drop through the shark tank to arrive into a splash pool below. We shut our eyes, held our breathe and took the leap. You could hear Pippa’s screams for miles. We all appeared grinning with our bikini bottoms round our ears!

With all the excitement of the water park we failed to notice we had missed lunch, with Abe’s blood sugar dangerously low we sped back to the boat for Pimms, canapés and games. After dinner in the resort we dropped Abe off in the nearest bar and hit the tables in the Casino. The incredibly strong drinks were rolling and financial inhibitions were somewhere back on the boat. Freyja didn’t have much luck as she bet against Pippa who after winning plenty of $$$ on red was encouraged home before her luck turned!

Early start for us tomorrow as we prepare to head to the Exumas islands. Fingers crossed for calm seas and clear skies.
Big Love
Esme, Abe, Freyja and Pippa
